Lindsay

Hello!

I’m Lindsay and I’m a total wellness and fitness nerd! I’m so excited to meet you and help you, but first let me explain why…

Going “Beyond ” Physical Therapy…

…Helping health conscious professionals and their kids rock their active lifestyles without medications and wasting time in the doctor’s office.

Beyond Physical Therapy was created because I saw a need in my own life. Working full days Monday through Friday made it really difficult to carve out time for appointments. I was forced to shuffle around my packed schedule, use valuable PTO, and stare at the clock to make sure I made it back to the clinic on time.  I truly valued when I could find  those rare, flexible professionals that served outside the typical 9-5 workday.

If you’re like me, you work hard so you can play hard, but that doesn’t mean getting treated and staying healthy should be hard…

Because I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, that means I can see you or your child without waiting for permission from your insurance or a referral from your family doctor or urgent care.  All you have to do is tell me you want some help.  I am available via email, text, or good old fashioned phone calls.

My home base is located inside Strive Fitness in Franklin, but Beyond Physical Therapy is a mobile practice.  It goes above and Beyond the normal medical experience to bring treatment to YOU, whether it’s at your gym, your home, or even your office or school, and get it to you RIGHT AWAY.

I attended Carroll University and earned an Entry-level Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2008). Since then, I have indulged my nerdiness earning designation for clinical expertise as a national board-certified Orthopedic Therapist, a certified Manual Therapist, and have earned certifications in dry needling and treatment of CrossFit athletes. My previous experience includes outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine in large hospital as well as small practice settings.

When I’m not working, I head outdoors. You might catch me running on the Oak Leaf Trail, or rolling on my fat bike on the local single track trails. The “hubs” and I enjoy boating on our beautiful Wisconsin lakes and playing in the snow on our snowboards or snowshoes. I pretend to be a good cook and love to pair my creations with a craft beer.
